Set in the middle of Brueton Park, on the edge of Solihull town centre, the Parkridge Centre and its 5.5acre nature area offer a tranquil setting for environmental education and information, plus a wide variety of nature conservation events and activities throughout the year.  Around the centre you'll find a number of trails to guide you round the nature area looking for trees, birds and other exciting features and a stimulating and fun adventure playground for children of all ages to enjoy.

The Dragonfly Tea Room offers a good range of hot and cold snacks and lighter meals.

The Education Team at Parkridge Centre provide a variety of regular children’s activities and holiday activities. Every Friday from 10.30am to 12.00pm and 1.00pm to 2.30pm all budding Nature Tots are invited to come and explore the natural world, with sessions ranging from “Hibernating Hedgehogs” to “Bringing the Seaside to the Midlands”. Nature Tots is for children aged between 2 and 4 years old. In the school holidays they run Crafty Drop-Ins and 60 Minute Marvels, with activities such as den building in the woods and pond dipping. Really Wild Birthday Parties are hosted throughout the year. Wildlife WATCH membership, which comes with a Wildlife Watcher’s Handbook, is a special membership for children to explore and enhance their love for nature
