Guest Blog - The Shakespeare Hospice Colour Blast

If you've never heard of Clolour Blast take a look at my guest blog below from Hannah Chapman, Marketing Officer at The Shakespeare Hospice who explains all. Last year the School Gate family took part in it and we loved it so much that we've signed up to do it all again this year. I can definitely recommend it as a great way to help raise money for an amazing local charity, I can also recommend taking something to put on your car seats for the drive home!

If the return to school or work and the chill of Autumn in the air makes you feel like you need some cheering up, look no further than The Shakespeare Hospice Colour Blast on September 27th.

You’ll leave feeling blue... and yellow, pink, green and purple!

Walk, run, dance or skip your way around the 5km route, passing ‘Colour Stations’ where you will be showered with different colours of powder paint. Start in your pristine white top and finish looking like a human rainbow!

The event will help us to fund the care which we provide to adults and young people, and those who matter to them, living in our community with a life limiting illness.

The Colour Blast takes place at Meon Vale Leisure Centre in Long Marston, starting at 10am. Find out more and sign up on our website www.theshakespearehospice.org.uk, or give us a call on 01789 266852.

See you soon!
