Beaver Scouts are girls and boys aged 6-8.  They usually meet weekly to take part in a wide range of acivities including games, crafts, singing, visits and good turns along with plenty of outdoor activities.  They will also have the opportunity to take part in the fun and excitement of sleepovers.  It may be the first time they spend a night away from home so it's a real adventure for them.

To join Scouting at any level you must register through the central website www.scouts.org.uk.  From the home page click through to the 'Get Involved' section where you can enter your postcode to find out about Scouting near you.  This will show you Groups in your local area and clicking on a location will give you the details of the local contact and you can request further information here.  The little section called 'Group Details' will tell you which sections (Beavers/Cubs/Scouts) are available at that location.
