Cubs are girls and boys aged 8 - 10 1/2.  A Cub Scout Pack can have up to 36 Cub Scouts and is split into smaller groups called Sixes.  Cubs take part in a wide range of activities designed to be interesting and challenging.  A Cub Scout meeting consists of games and activities with plenty of time spent outdoors.  Camps and holidays are some of the most memorable events of the year for Cubs.

To join Scouting at and level you must register through the central website www.scouts.org.uk.  From the home page click through to the 'Get Involved' section where you can enter your postcode to find out about Scouting near you.  This will show you Groups in your local area and clicking on a location will give you the details of the local contact and you can request further information here.  The little section called 'Group Details' will tell you which sections (Beavers/Cubs/Scouts) are available at that location.
